about ClimaForce merino wool

ClimaForce Merino: Engineered to Outlast

30% Stronger. Zero Compromise.

The ultimate evolution of the Merino T-shirt.

At Wolk, we love the natural performance of Merino wool. But we recognized a problem: merino wool T-shirts can be fragile. To create the perfect everyday T-shirt, we needed to fix that.

We developed ClimaForce merino wool—a proprietary yarn that retains all the miracle properties of Merino while adding the structural integrity of high-performance engineering.

The Engineering Behind the Strength

Our ClimaForce merino yarn is made with a merino core and reinforced with a fine, nylon filament. The results are impressive.

30% More Durable: Rigorous testing shows ClimaForce is significantly more resistant to abrasion and "micro-holes" than standard wool.

Smart Thermoregulation

Your Personal Climate Control.
Nature engineered the Merino fiber to be "active," meaning it constantly reacts to your body temperature.

  • Cool in Summer: It pulls moisture away from your skin and evaporates it into the air.
  • Warm in Winter: The fiber structure traps natural body heat to keep you insulated.

Wear more, wash less

Breaking the "One-Day Wear" Cycle.
Unlike synthetics or cotton, Merino wool is naturally antimicrobial. It doesn't just mask odors; it traps the molecules and only releases them when laundered.

  • Self-Cleaning Properties: Simply hang your shirt overnight to refresh it.
  • Time Saver: Spend less time doing laundry and more time living.
  • Eco-Friendly: Washing less saves water and extends the life of your clothes.

Dry comfort

Dries 2x Faster: Cotton acts like a sponge, soaking moisture into its core. Merino pulls moisture to the surface where it evaporates rapidly.

Vapor Management: Merino can absorb 35% of its weight in moisture before even feeling damp. Cotton feels heavy and "swampy" almost instantly.

Insulates When Wet: Unlike cotton, which becomes cold and clammy when damp, Merino keeps its structure and continues to insulate your body heat.

Ironing is Now Optional

The Ultimate Travel Essential.

Effortless Maintenance

Fully Machine Washable.
Forget the high-maintenance reputation of traditional wool. Our Merino has undergone a specialized treatment that prevents the fibers from "felting" or shrinking in the wash. It is however important to use wool detergent to ensure the wool lasts a long time.

Natural UV Protection

Built-in Sun Defense.
As a fiber evolved under the intense Australian sun, Merino wool provides a natural barrier against harmful rays that synthetic fabrics and thin cotton simply can't match.

  • UPF 40+: Merino absorbs UV radiation across the entire spectrum, providing a natural UPF rating far higher than most summer fabrics.
  • Chemical-Free: Unlike many "sun-safe" garments that use chemical coatings, Merino’s protection is permanent and mechanical.
