Our unique white merino shirt – An absolute bestseller.
While white is the classic choice, a white merino shirt remains a mark of exclusivity. Since 100% white wool does not exist in nature, this 100% merino wool shirt is truly unique (and subtly off-white).
The fabric, woven in Italy from superfine wool, offers unparalleled comfort: silky soft, wrinkle-resistant, and fresh for days. Thanks to its natural thermoregulation, this white merino dress shirt is ideal for all seasons—keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

The story behind our white merino shirts
From caring merino sheep farms to elite Italian textile mills and European tailoring, our supply chain is built on transparency, craftsmanship, and a complete refusal to compromise on quality.
Happy Merino sheep make the best wool
We select the most premium wool from ZQ certified farms in New Zealand, ensuring animal welfare, land protection, and full traceability from farm to finish.
Designed in Belgium
Our shirts are built to last and designed to be lived in. Leveraging our roots in the outdoor industry, we source the finest materials and partner with the world’s best makers. We refined every detail to create the ultimate merino wool shirt; built to feel as good on day 100 as day one.
The selection of the whitest wool
After a delicate sorting process, the wool is washed and finished to the highest environmental standards, preserving all the natural qualities of the merino wool.
To guarantee exceptional quality, the spinning, weaving, and finishing of our white wool is kept strictly isolated in a separate production hall, preventing any contamination from other colors.
Italian Craftsmanship: The Art Behind Our Woven Merino
The signature soft finish of our fabric is all down to our Italian spinning and weaving experts. Drawing on 150 years of refined craftsmanship and an innovative weaving process, we deliver the best merino shirt on the market—with an unparalleled quality and texture.

Tailored by Portuguese experts
Once perfected in Italy, our fabric travels to a skilled, family-owned atelier in Portugal. Their meticulous eye for detail ensures a superior finish for every shirt.
PROUDLY MADE IN EUROPE
Our 100% European production ensures premium quality, ethical working conditions, and strict environmental compliance.
Corozo buttons: natural & durable
Premium quality leaves no detail behind. Every shirt component, including our natural Corozo buttons, is chosen to look pristine for years, not seasons.
Carved from the Tagua palm nut, Corozo is nicknamed "Vegetal Ivory." This organic nut is scratch-resistant, exceptionally durable, and a sustainable upgrade to mass-produced plastic.
Reasons it outperforms every shirt you own.
Wolk blends the technical benefits of merino wool with a timeless style and luxurious comfort.
Wear more. Wash less. Pack lighter.
Because merino wool naturally repels bacteria and odours, this shirt entirely eliminates the need for daily washing. Perfect for business trips or a lean capsule wardrobe. Just hang it overnight to refresh it, reduce your laundry load, and live lighter.
The Shirt That Fights Creases.
Traditional cotton shirts look great, until you actually wear them. Our compact-spun merino is different. While it needs a quick iron after washing, your body heat actively fights creases the moment you put it on.
Stay flawlessly sharp through all-day business travel, and look just as fresh on days two and three.
Smoother Than Cotton. (Yes, Really.)
Exceptionally soft and undeniably premium, this fabric completely redefines Merino wool. By utilizing an innovative Italian compact-spinning technology, we’ve created a weave that is entirely clean and smooth—not fuzzy or itchy.
The result? A shirt that feels even sleeker, softer, and more comfortable against your skin than traditional cotton.
" Brilliant shirt. Fits like a glove. Stays fresh and looks great, even after several washes. Easy to wash and dries quickly. Highly recommended!" - Frits ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Designed to outperform.

FAQ- White Merino wool dress shirt for men
How do I wash and care for this white merino shirt?
- Wash it on a gentle wool or delicates cycle at 30°C using a mild, wool-safe liquid detergent.
- Avoid fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibers and reduce the wool's natural performance.
- We advise to put it inside a washbag to avoid wear and tear during washing.
- Do not tumble dry. Instead, reshape it while damp and lay it flat or hang it to air dry, but avoid direct sunlight. After a couple of hours your shirt is already dry.
- Iron and steam on low heat.
How often do I need to wash this white shirt? What about the collar and cuffs?
Because our merino wool naturally repels odors and bacteria, the body of the shirt entirely eliminates the need for daily washing and can easily be worn multiple times.
However, because it is a white shirt, the collar and cuffs will naturally pick up skin oils and friction marks over time. We recommend inspecting the collar and cuffs after each wear. If the rest of the shirt is still fresh but the collar or cuffs show faint marking, you don't need to wash the whole garment. Simply follow the targeted spot-cleaning tips on our Stain Removal Page to keep them crisp and bright.
Do I still need to iron this merino shirt?
Yes, for the crispest look, we recommend a quick iron or steam after washing.
Because we don't use harsh, stiffening chemicals to make our shirts "iron-free," they will have some natural texture when they come out of the wash. However, our compact-spun merino wool behaves very differently than traditional cotton:
- Body Heat Activation: The moment you put the shirt on, your natural body heat works to actively smooth out any minor packaging or travel creases.
- On the Go: If you are traveling, simply hang the shirt in the bathroom while you take a hot shower—the steam will easily release any wrinkles, completely eliminating the need for a hotel iron.
Tip: Always iron on a low/wool heat setting, and preferably inside out or using a pressing cloth to protect the premium finish of the fabric. You can use steam if you have that.
Can I use bleach or optical brighteners on this shirt?
No, never use chlorine bleach on merino wool. Bleach destroys the natural protein fibers and will actually cause the wool to turn yellow or degrade. If you need to brighten the shirt or remove a tough stain, use a gentle, oxygen-based whitener or a spot-treatment designed specifically for wool and delicate fabrics.
Is this white merino a "pure" crisp white, an off-white, or an ivory?
It is a beautiful, natural crisp white. Because merino wool is an organic fiber, it inherently possesses a slightly warmer, richer tone than chemically bleached synthetic shirts. This gives the shirt a sophisticated, premium look that pairs effortlessly with both business suits and casual wear.
Is the white merino fabric see-through? Do I need to wear an undershirt?
For most men, an undershirt isn't necessary. Our Alex and Tristan shirts feature an optimized fabric weight of 160 g/m² with a dense, compact-spun weave that offers excellent opacity compared to standard lightweight white shirts.
However, because it is a natural white fabric, it does have a slight translucency. If you have distinct tattoos, heavy chest hair, or prefer total opacity, we recommend wearing a skin-tone undershirt, or opting for our Oliver Merino Shirt, which has a heavier 190 g/m² weave structure for complete coverage.
Can I really wear this merino shirt multiple days in a row without it smelling?
Absolutely. Merino wool possesses natural antimicrobial properties that prevent odor-causing bacteria from building up in the fabric. Unless you physically spill something on it, you can easily wear it for two to three days straight. Just hang it up overnight in a well-ventilated area to let it naturally refresh.
How wrinkle-resistant is this merino shirt during travel?
It is highly wrinkle-resistant compared to traditional cotton. While it benefits from a quick iron or steam after washing, its natural, spring-like fibers bounce back on their own. Any light creases from your suitcase or sitting all day in a meeting will actively smooth out within minutes just from your natural body heat as you wear it.
Does the woven merino fabric pill over time?
Standard wool can sometimes pill, but our shirt is different. By utilizing an innovative Italian compact-spinning technology, we tightly twist the long merino fibers to create an entirely clean, smooth surface. This drastically reduces friction and stops fuzziness and pilling before it can start.
Does it feel scratchy like regular wool?
Not at all. Standard wool scratches because the fibers are thick and coarse. We use only ultra-fine merino wool fibers combined with a compact-spinning technique. This results in a weave that is entirely smooth, soft, and feels even sleeker against your skin than a premium cotton shirt.
Will these merino wool shirts shrink after washing?
Like most fine shirting, Merino wool shirts may experience slight shrinkage (about 1–3%) after the initial wash.To ensure a comfortable, lasting fit, we recommend selecting a size that allows for this natural, one-time adjustment.
