While 100% merino feels great, it can stretch out or get holes over time. Our ClimaForce merino blend offers the same softness and breathability, but with added durability, better shape recovery, and longer-lasting performance.
Is a merino wool T-shirt better than a cotton or a synthetics T-shirt?
Yes, especially for all-day wear. Merino wool is naturally breathable, moisture-wicking, temperature-regulating, and odor-resistant. Unlike cotton, it keeps you dry. Unlike synthetics, it stays fresh (no odour) and feels soft against the skin.
Are Wolk merino T-shirts itchy?
Not at all. We use super-fine merino fibers that feel smooth and comfortable—no itch, even for sensitive skin.
Are Wolk merino T-shirts machine washable, and will they shrink?
Yes, they're machine washable—no special treatment needed. Wolk uses total Easy Care merino yarn, so you can wash it on a 30°C delicate program. It is recommended to use wool wash because it contains less aggressive chemicals, and it keeps your wool and other clothes in better condition for a long time. Hang to dry, and after only a couple of hours, you can wear it again. Our T-shirts are prewashed, so they will not shrink anymore.
Will Wolk merino T-shirt colors start to fade?
We use long-lasting dyes and pre-treat every fabric to lock in colour. That means no noticeable fading—even after repeated washes and wear. The colourfastness is far better than that of cotton; however, over time, it will start to fade due to UV rays. Avoid hanging your T-shirt in direct sunlight when you air it out.
